Located in Montreal, Canada, JBLopen Inc. is dedicated to providing the highest level of embedded software expertise in the form of consulting services and software products. At the heart of JBLopen is a small team of seasoned and passionate programmers, with a pragmatic yet rigorous approach to problem solving.

Since 2016 we’ve been helping our customers materialize their vision using the latest embedded technologies. From deeply embedded applications with aggressive resource and power constraints, to performance-centric designs requiring high-end processors and SoCs, our team of consulting engineers is regularly solicited on projects of contrasting scales and constraints. Our consulting services include firmware migration and platform support, driver development, application development, legacy hardware and software support, as well as toolchain and SDK development and integration.

Consulting activities fuel all other aspects of JBLopen’s business, most importantly research and product development. Our current product lineup includes the high-performance, fail-safe, TREEspan flash file system (TSFS), as well as the BASEplatform cross-platform SDK. The performance, reliability and overall quality of these solutions come from rigorous research and development, but their success and relevance result from leaning on our consulting practice and working our way back from down-to-earth customer experience.
